Loved this. I have horrible histamine reactions to many foods and some wines and sadly my heart medication means I cannot take antihistamines ever again. Lame. What do I do? Just sniff a lot, have a swollen red face, and keep eating and drinking! 😝 But in my experience, most people I talk to at the shop when they say they get headaches from wine, I follow up and ask how much water they drink and BOOM, they are seriously dehydrated.

Wow, that sounds rough, but glad you've found a good system – the ole' option 4! Do you get headaches at all from it or is it basically closer to allergy symptoms all around?

I have never had a headache. Just stuffy nose and swollen red cheeks. All allergy symptoms. My doctor thinks it is histamines and it isn’t all wine, wines from certain regions where my bug allergens grow oddly enough but clearly more scientific studies probably need to be done to prove that. But that is his hunch!

Surely the Vitamin N in the signature red wine of Piedmont offsets any negative impact of quercetin...
