I enjoyed learning about noble rot as well as white Bordeaux wines!

Tried a white Merlot the other day. Can’t pretend it blew me away, but there’s certainly more to Bordeaux than the reds they’re most famous for!

That's cool, I've never even heard of white Merlot coming from Bordeaux! Do you remember the producer by any chance? Seems like it would be worth a try if for no other reason than it is something new and unusual lol

Sure, though again, nothing spectacular. It was St Emilion based Ch. Picoron, with their “No Lemon, No Melon”. Not sure abt the vintage but imagine it was very recent. Crystal clear in the glass, only a shade darker than the water I had in the glass next to it.
