I am unlikely to see a bottle of Chateau Musar, or any other Lebanese wine at Dan Murphy's, Australia's biggest liquor store, but you never know.

I'm not sure about the distribution of Lebanese wine in general in Australia, but I do see on wine searcher that there are some bottles of Chateau Musar available for purchase in Melbourne and Brisbane, including a 1998 from the Brisbane store which is supposed to be an incredible vintage for Chateau Musar. I had the 1996 a few months ago which was still drinking beautifully (and supposedly not as good as the 98). If you do track any bottles down, please let us know what you think! Cheers! https://www.wine-searcher.com/find/musar+bekaa+valley+lebanon/1/australia?Xcurrencycode=AUD&Xsort_order=p&Xsavecurrency=Y that

Thanks Isaac. When I find a spare $115 I might head to Armadale Cellars. I used to go ther with a mate back in the early 80s when I came back to Melbourne.
